A perfect day for a 4th of July hike.
Kate had prepared all kinds of goodies.
Fresh off a Triathlon she was the one in best shape.
It was also the last adventure with Sanna
before she heads out on a month long trip
around the US and then back to Sweden.
It was slightly tricky carrying tired kids across snowy patches.
Ava was discovering some paths on her own.
Both were very good and well behaved. 2 and 5 respectively.
The local wildlife took a long look at Jack.
A little help walking across can be needed.
"Yup, this is how you apply sunscreen".
"What a view Sanna".
"Pfft, snow. Don't care much for that".
Yes, that's the volcano.
Sanna on the trail.
This was a tricky little passage that Kate
navigated well. I did not do as well.
